How to Create the Perfect Prime Rib, using Spiceology’s Prime Rib Rub

Did you know prime rib is considered the king of all beef cuts? It’s a spectacular centerpiece for the holidays, a lovely option to offer at weddings and it makes any special occasion more memorable. It also happens to come with a hefty price tag, mostly because prime rib is considered a better cut of meat than most others. Don’t let that intimidate you, it’s surprisingly easy to prepare and hard to mess up. One of the most delicious ways to make it is with the right rub. A high-quality seasoning is important when you’re preparing a quality piece of meat.

Our Prime Rib Rub consists of garlic, salt, onion, sugar, tomato powder, smoked paprika and red bell pepper, plus a few other ingredients combined for the perfect flavor. It’s also available in a convenient, glass jar size, perfect for home cooking. Some chefs recommend rubbing oil over your cut of meat before sprinkling it with this spice blend. Others suggest combining the rub with the oil to make a moist paste.
