If there’s one thing we love at Spiceology, it’s using a handful of quality ingredients to make an elevated delicious dish.
This tomato sandwich uses the simple tomato to make a juicy, flavorful carb-y sammie that’ll please even the biggest meateater. Seriously, that mayo-Greek Freak spread is fantastic.
Greek Freak Heirloom Tomato Sandwich

Ingredients
- 2 – 3 gorgeous heirloom tomatoes
- Sprouts
- Sourdough bread
- 2 Tbsp red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup mayo (we love Dukes)
- Chives
- 2 Tbsp Spiceology Greek Freak Mediterranean blend
Instructions
- Slice those gorgeous tomatoes and salt them a bit – we’ll come grab them for our sandwich soon.
- Toast your bread – either in a traditional toaster or if you want to ger fancy on the stove with a little olive oil on both sides for that perfect crunch.
- To make your spread combine your mayo, diced onion, diced chives and Spiceology Greek Freak in a bowl. Mix vigorously.
- Add a generous amount of your mayo spread to your toasted bread then add your sprouts and tomatoes on top.
- Put your sandwich together and enjoy this simple seasonal pleasure! For bonus points you can also add bacon and lettuce to make it a BLT – but we also love the delicious simplicity of a tomato sandwich.
