Smoked Nashville Hot Chicken Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella, divided
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons Nashville Hot Chicken blend
  • 12 ounces shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/3 cup plain toasted bread crumbs
  • 1 baguette, sliced and toasted, for serving
  • Green onion, sliced, for garnish
  • Pickle chips, for garnish

Spicy Pickle Crema

  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 34 tablespoons spicy pickle juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat pellet smoker or oven to 375º F.
  2. Spray a cast iron skillet with cooking spray.  In a bowl, add the cream cheese, 1 3/4 cups mozzarella, mayonnaise, sour cream, Nashville Hot Chicken blend, and rotisserie chicken.  Toss to combine and pour into prepared skillet.  Sprinkle the top with the bread crumbs, the remaining cheese and a little more Nashville Hot Chicken blend (if preferred).
  3. Smoke/Bake for 30 minutes.  Remove from the heat and garnish with green onions, pickles and spicy pickle crema (below).  Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices.

Spicy Pickle Crema

  1. Add both ingredients in a small bowl and stir well to combine.  Drizzle over the hot dip and serve.
