Smoky Honey Habanero Peach Crumble
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 40 minutes
- Total Time: 1 hour
- Yield: 4–6 servings 1x
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 cups Fresh Peaches (pitted and sliced)
- 2 Tbsp Spiceology Smoky Honey Habanero at Target
- 2 1/2 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
- 2 Tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 3 cups Honey Bunches of Oats cereal
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 stick of frozen butter (shredded)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375. In a bowl, combine peach slices, Spiceology Smoky Honey Habanero, cornstarch, brown sugar, vanilla paste, and lemon juice until thoroughly combined. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine flour and shredded butter until a crumble starts to form. Work in two cups of cereal, brown sugar, and salt. Some cereal will break down – it’s supposed to. Once it sticks together in medium clumps, add remaining cereal.
- In a deep dish pie pan, pour in the peach mixture. Top with the crumble mixture and press gently as you top the peaches.
- Place in oven on the center rack for 20 minutes uncovered. Once the crumble starts to brown, add for tbsp of butter on top and finish baking. If crust starts to brown too much, cover with aluminum foil.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 20 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
