Who says you have to make sangria with red wine? We’re putting one of our favorite blends – Chinese Five Spice – to work with this tasty take on a classic. Cheers!

Spiced White Wine Sangria
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
Scale
- 750 ml Pinot Grigio
- 4 oz White Rum/Brandy
- 4 oz Spiceology’s Chinese Five Spice Simple Syrup
- ½ Orange (Sliced)
- ½ Apple (Sliced)
- 5 Spiceology’s Star Anise
- 2 Spiceology’s Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks
Chinese Five Spice Simple Syrup:
- 8 oz Granulated Sugar
- 8 oz Water
- 2 Tbsp Spiceology’s Chinese Five Spice blend
Instructions
Chinese Five Spice Simple Syrup:
- In a pot, add all ingredients.
- Bring to a boil for 1 minute and stir until sugar and powder dissolve.
- Reduce heat to low for 5 mins.
- Let cool completely.
- Store in airtight jar, refrigerated for up to 1 month.
Cocktail:
- In a pitcher, add all ingredients. Stir and pour over ice in a wine glass
- Garnish: Star Anise, Cinnamon Ceylon
