For the Orange Hibiscus Simple Syrup

For the cocktail

  • 2 ounce spiced rum
  • 1.5 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 0.5 ounce lime juice
  • 1 ounce orange hibiscus syrup

Instructions

For the Orange Hibiscus Simple Syrup

  1. In a sauce pan, bring all ingredients together to a boil for one minute.
  2. Reduce heat to medium low for 5 minutes (160 degrees).
  3. Remove from heat and fine strain.
  4. Let Cool entirely before use.
  5. Keep Refrigerated up to 1 month. 

For the cocktail

  1. Add all ingredients and shake vigorously. 
  2. Strain over ice into a tiki or Collins glass. 
  3. Garnish with a pineapple frond and lime wheel.
