It's margarita time.
We're using our Derek Wolf Adobo Honey spicy sweet blend and whipping up a simple syrup to add a deliciously new flavor dimension to your typical marg.
This simple syrup is a great drink staple, especially for summer; adjust the amount of Adobo Honey you use depending on how much you love that slightly-spicy, smoky taste.

Adobo Honey Simple Syrup
Margarita
Directions
Adobo Honey Simple Syrup
Boil equal parts water and sugar on your stove. Once sugar has been dissolved, add 1-2 tablespoons of Derek Wolf Adobo Honey blend (add more if you love a smoky taste).
- Stir until Derek Wolf Adobo Honey blend has been fully dissolved into sugar-water mixture.
Remove from heat and store in the fridge to cool down. You’ll want your simple syrup to cool down to room temperature before adding to drinks.
Margarita
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add 2 ounces tequila, the juice of one lime, 1 ounce Adobo Honey simple syrup and ½ ounce Triple Sec.
- Shake until mixed and chilled - about 30 seconds.
Rim a glass with lime juice and Spiceology Lime Salt. Pour margarita in and enjoy.
- Note - Simple syrup can be stored in a sealed container for delicious drinks all summer long
