Spiceology products are produced in a facility that processes allergens, including soy, coconut, gluten, mustard, celery, milk and sesame seed. Allergen declarations are included at the end of the ingredient section of each product. Some of our products also include sulfites which will be listed within the product’s ingredient statement. If you have any specific questions regarding allergens or food sensitivities with Spiceology, please contact info@spiceology.com.

Probably! We are sold at a variety of retailers across the country - please visit our Store Locator to find a location in your area.

Unfortunately, Spiceology does not currently have our own storefront, however, if you live in the Spokane, WA area where we’re based, you can find a variety of our products at these local retailers: My Fresh Basket, The Kitchen Engine, Egger’s Meat Market, Mountain View Custom Meats or Thorpe Fruit Market.

Many of our Signature Blends are our top sellers, including:

  • Greek Freak Mediterranean Blend
  • Smoky Honey Habanero Sweet & Spicy Blend
  • Maui Wowee Hawaiian Teriyaki Blend
  • Black & Bleu Cajun & Bleu Cheese Blend
  • Salt Pepper Garlic - a always-on-hand staple for grillers

We also have a (rather convenient) Top 8 Seasonings Variety Pack.

Spiceology offers a variety of container sizes to help you experiment with flavor. The right fit for you depends on your cooking needs, your frequency of use and the serving size.

For cooking at home and pantry staples, we suggest starting with “home cook” sizes like the PET (mini), Glass Jars (small) and PCM (medium), which contain between 2 oz up to 10 oz and are ideal for smaller portions, family meals or taking new flavors for a taste drive. These sizes work great for the weekend grilling warrior and an afternoon spent BBQing meat or veggies.

For the rubs and blends that you just can’t do without, we suggest grabbing a larger size, like our PCM (medium) or PC1 (large) container. These are best for family meals on heavy rotation and larger recipes.

For professional chefs and restaurants, PC1 (large) and PC5 (extra large) sizes are the most cost-effective containers for fresh cut ingredients, spices and blends. These sizes range from 18 oz up to 80 oz and proudly display our Periodic Table of Flavor, making them the best pick for larger batches and everyday use.

Got a pantry full of our flavorful spices and want to make the flavor last? No problem. Be sure to store your dried spices and blends in a cool and dry place, removed from direct sunlight. We recommend that you keep them away from the heat of a stove or vent, as this will cause the flavors to fade over time. Most importantly, be sure to keep the containers tightly sealed when not in use.

Great question. The short answer: fill weight.

Now here’s the long(er) answer: our spices and blends are ground fresh, packed fresh and filled according to weight by an automated machine rather than a human-ran fill line. Some ingredients weigh more than others; for example a fruit powder typically weighs less than whole juniper berries and each would take up a different amount of space in the bottle. We guarantee each bottle contains the correct weight stated on the label.

Also, fill weights can vary due to the density and moisture content of each blend, which can cause some products to appear less “full” in the bottle than others. Your spices may have settled during shipping, and we recommend giving the bottles a good shake when you first receive them to bring the ingredients back to their original fill level.

Some of our rubs and blends include “spices” in the ingredient lists - and you may be wondering what the heck that means. The term spice has a broad meaning, but mostly consists of any aromatic vegetable substance in a ground form that is added to our blends for flavor, not nutrition. Items within “spices” are FDA approved and will never contain any of the USA big 9 allergens.

Examples of popular spices include Allspice, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Tarragon, and many others. To tell you any more might be sharing our secret sauce… or, secret spice, but if you have additional questions, please contact info@spiceology.com for more information.

Spiceology guarantees quality and freshness for up to 3 years if stored properly. Spices by nature, do not expire as other food products might. Stored well, a bottle of spice, herbs, chili, can last longer than 3 years. Salt products can last even longer. For more questions about freshness or your product directly please contact info@spiceology.com to get in touch with a member of the quality team.
