Shiitake Mushroom Miso Compound Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Spiceology Shiitake Mushroom Powder

  • 1 stick of butter (8 tablespoons), room temperature

  • 1 tablespoon Miso

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons chives, finely chopped

  • Parchment paper

Directions

  1. Mix butter, miso, Spiceology Shiitake Mushroom Powder and chives in a bowl together.

  2. Lay out parchment paper and add butter mix and roll out into a log and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Use this butter to finish steaks or seafood or anything else you want to add an umami buttery finish to.
