Ingredients

5-6 16 oz cans of baked beans

1 medium yellow onion, diced

2 jalapeños
-
3 Tbsp Spiceology X Derek Wolf Sticky Bourbon Brown Ale Beer-Infused Rub

1/2 can brown ale beer
-
1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
-
1/2 cup brown sugar
-
3 Tbsp grainy mustard
-
A bag of crispy onions

Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat your smoker (or oven) to 250°F.
In a large Dutch oven, add in your onions and jalapeños (remove the seeds if you want your beans to be less spicy) cook for 3-4 minutes, then adding in your beer to de glaze.
Open your cans of beans and add everything from the cans into the Dutch oven. Mix in your bbq sauce, brown sugar and mustard.
Place onto your smoker and smoke (or bake) for 3.5 hours, stirring once every hour or so.
Once your time is up, remove from your smoker, let cool and enjoy this great BBQ side dish!
