Ingredients
-
2 Tbsp Teriyaki Takeout
-
1 pack Del Real Foods Birria Beef
-
2 Tortillas (12in)
-
2-3oz Oaxacan Cheese (pulled)
-
½ Cup Crema
-
Juice of 1 Lime
-
2 Cilantro, Sprigs
Directions
Follow the recommended directions on how to cook the birria.
When the birria is cooking in its liquid you'll want to season with 2T of Teriyaki Takeout. Stir well to incorporate.
While that's cooking prep the crema by placing in a small mixing bowl and combining it with the lime juice. Stir well and set aside. In a large sauté pan, bring to medium heat.
Lay your tortilla down and begin to toast. You'll want to layer the cheese and birria beef on each other over the tortilla (make sure you drain the liquid from it best you can).
Cover with another tortilla to enclose the cheese and beef. Toast until golden brown and then turn over to do the same to the other side ensuring the cheese melts.
Using a pizza slicer (or knife) cut the quesadilla into even pieces.
Plate and garnish with the lime crema and cilantro. Take the liquid from the birria and place in a ramekin for a nice consommé dip.
Devour.
