This steakhouse-style dinner is all about bold simplicity: a beautifully seared ribeye or NY strip, finished with a rich, savory pan sauce that pulls everything together. The secret weapon is Spiceology Yum Yum Japanese Steakhouse-Inspired Seasoning—bringing creamy, umami depth and a craveable finish to both the steak and the sauce. Yum Yum Seasoning is exclusively available at Costco, so you can stock up while you’re grabbing dinner.

Yum Yum Steak & Steak Sauce

Ingredients

    blank

    • 4 ribeye or NY strip steaks (about 8 oz each)

    • 2 Tbsp oil

    • Salt & pepper, as needed

    blank

    • 2 Tbsp butter

    • 2 Tbsp Spiceology’s Yum Yum Seasoning (divided)

    • Garlic, minced (1-2 cloves)

    • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lemon juice

    • ½ cup heavy cream

    • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise

    • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce

    • Chopped scallions or chives (garnish)

    Directions

    1. Season the steak: Pat dry and season with salt and pepper.

    2. Sear: Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet until just smoking. Sear steaks 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust to preference). Add butter during final minute and baste. Remove at 120 degrees internal for a medium rare steak.

    3. Rest: Remove steaks and rest on a rack or plate for 5–7 minutes.

    4. In same skillet, lower heat. Add minced garlic; cook 30 seconds.

    5. Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, and Worcestershire to deglaze pan.

    6. Add heavy cream, mayo, and remaining 1 Tbsp Yum Yum Blend. Whisk until smooth and slightly thickened (about 2–3 minutes).

    7. Spoon sauce over rested steak or serve on the side. Garnish with scallions or chives.
