Ingredients
-
2 lbs Ground Pork
-
2 Tbsp and 1 Tbsp Spiceology Black Magic Cajun Blackening Blend
-
1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
-
4 slices Provolone
-
4 Kaiser Rolls
-
8-10 Red Lettuce Leaves
-
8-10 Green Lettuce Leaves
-
1 Red Onion (Thinly Sliced)
-
1 Beef Steak Tomato (1/4” sliced)
-
1/2 cup Mayo
-
3/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
-
1/2 cup Honey Mustard
-
2 Tbsp Brown sugar
Directions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine ground pork, 2 Tbsp of Spiceology Black Magic Cajun Blackening Blend and 1 Tbsp of kosher salt. With gloves on, mix by hand until well incorporated.
Patty out four 8 oz pork patties and set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine mayo, honey mustard, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Whisk until smooth and thoroughly combined.
Sprinkle 1/2 Tbsp of Black Magic on the exposed side of the pork patties.
Heat 3 Tbsp of neutral oil in a large skillet to a shimmer and add pork patties top side down.
Sprinkle remaining 1/2 Tbsp of Black Magic on the exposed side of the pork patties.
Cook patties over medium heat at 3-4 minutes per side. Depending on size of skillet cook 2 at a time or all 4.
Once flipped to the cooked side, add provolone cheese slices and continue to cook for the remaining 3-4 minutes.
Remove from the skillet and place on a plate to let rest momentarily.
In a large bowl, combine lettuce leaves and 1/8 cup of honey mustard dressing. Gently toss the leaves in the dressing until lightly coated. Reserve remaining dressing.
Build pork burgers— dressed lettuce on the bottom, pork patty, tomato, onion, and a drizzle of the dressing. Devour.
