Ingredients
-
1 bunch of green onions
-
2 shallots
-
3-4 cloves of garlic
-
Small handful of Italian parsley
-
1 1/2 Tbsp Spiceology X Derek Wolf Cowboy Candy seasoning
-
1 lemon, juiced and zested
-
3/4-1 cup of olive oil, plus more for seasoning
-
1/4-1/3 cup of cider vinegar
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Grilled veggies for serving
Directions
Toss your green onions with some olive oil and 1/2 Tbsp of Spiceology X Derek Wolf Cowboy Candy blend.
Grill over high heat, until dark charring but not completely burnt and brittle.(Don’t have a grill? Roast in a sauté pan or broil in the oven!) Let cool.
Slice your shallots and garlic very thin, I like to leave them in bigger slices, more rustic and the texture is great. Roughly chop your charred onions and parsley, add everything into a bowl.
Pour in your olive oil and cider vinegar, zest and juice your lemon, and add 1 Tbsp of Spiceology Cowboy Candy. Mix together and let stand for 20 minutes at room temperature so all the flavors marry together.
Pour this over grilled veggies, into salads or dip grilled bread in and enjoy!
