Ingredients

1 large red onion, thinly sliced

¾ cup red wine vinegar

¾ cup water

1½ Tbsp sugar

1½ tsp kosher salt

2 tsp Spiceology Harissa Seasoning
Directions
Place sliced red onions in a heatproof jar or bowl.
In a small saucepan, combine red wine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and harissa seasoning.
Bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar and salt dissolve.
Carefully pour hot brine over onions until fully submerged.
Let cool at room temperature for 15–20 minutes, then cover and refrigerate.
