Ingredients
-
2 racks meaty back ribs
-
3-4 Tbsp Spiceology Korean BBQ, divided
-
1/2 cup tamari or soy sauce
-
3 Tbsp Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
-
1/4 cup maple syrup
-
2 1/2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
-
4 Tbsp butter Green onions for garnish
Directions
Heat your smoker to 275-300°F, this is a hotter temp and speeds up the cook for a quick and easy rib for a crowd.
Remove the membrane from the back of the rib, slice along the side of the bone so more meat is on one side.
Season with the tamari or sauce, roughly 2 Tbsp for the binder. Season with enough Korean BBQ to coat the ribs lightly.
Place on a wire rack and smoke for 1 1/2 hours.
While your ribs are smoking, make your Korean BBQ sauce by mixing together your Gochujang, tamari, maple syrup, rice wine vinegar and 1 Tbsp Korean BBQ seasoning.
After your ribs are smoked, place them into an aluminum tray and add your butter and Korean BBQ sauce and mix.
Smoke for 1 more hour. Once finished plate these up with green onions and a sprinkle more of the Korean BBQ seasoning and enjoy!
