Maui Wowee Grilled Pork & Pineapple Skewers

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Spiceology Maui Wowee

  • 3-4 lbs pork chop or pork shoulder, cubed
  • 1 bunch spring onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lime
  • 1 inch knob of ginger
  • 3 tablespoons of your favorite bbq sauce as a binder, I used Bachan's.

  • 1 pineapple, large dice

Directions

  1. Dice your pork to medium size dice.
  2. Grate garlic, ginger and lime zest into your pork, season with your bbq sauce and Maui Wowee seasoning. Mix together and cover and into the fridge for 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Heat your grill to medium heat.
  4. Skewer your pork with large pieces of spring onion. Place on grill, keeping an eye on your skewers as the pork with char quickly.
  5. Toss your pineapple in Maui Wowee and skewer them, placing on your grill with the pork.
  6. When your pork is cooked to your liking take off your grill and plate with the pineapple skewers, serve them up and enjoy warm.
