Ingredients
-
2 cups flour
-
2 tsp baking powder
-
1/2 tsp baking soda
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
2 Tbsp Spiceology’ Smoky Honey Habanero seasoning
-
2 1/2 cups buttermilk
-
2 eggs
-
1/4 cup melted butter, plus more for serving
-
6-8 pieces of cooked bacon, chopped up
-
1/4-1/3 cup of your favorite cheese, shredded (I used an aged cheddar)
-
Maple syrup, for serving
Directions
Combine your flour, Spiceology Smoky Honey Habanero seasoning, baking powder, soda and salt in a large bowl, mix.
Add in your buttermilk, eggs, cheese and bacon and mix just until everything is combined. - Pour in your melted butter and give one last quick mix. (If your batter is too thick, add in some more buttermilk to get to the right consistency.)
Heat either a pan or flattop grill to medium heat.
Ladle your pancake mix onto your hot cooking surface, once the bubbles on top of the pancake pop and don’t form back into your pancake you can flip them, let them cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Stack these high, slather with butter and maple syrup and enjoy with a slow morning.
