Oh Canada Charred Broccolini with Garlic Butter

Ingredients

1 lb Broccolini
-
1 Tbsp Spiceology Oh Canada
-
Olive Oil
-
1-2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
-
2 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted

2 Tbsp Garlic, Minced

Parmesan for garnish
Directions
Trim the broccolini ends and allow to sit at room temp for 30 minutes.
In a large bowl, toss the broccolini with olive oil and 1/2-1 Tbsp Spiceology Oh Canada until evenly coated.
Bring a large cast iron skillet to temp with medium-high heat.
Add the broccolini in a single layer (you might need to do this in batches). Let it sear undisturbed for 2-3 minutes to develop a char.
Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender with nice caramelized edges.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Remove the broccolini pan and melt the butter in the center.
Add the minced garlic to the butter and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Toss the broccolini back through the garlic butter, making sure it gets glossy and coated.
Squeeze in the lemon juice and toss again.
Remove from heat and top with shaved Parmesan.
Plate it up and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
