Recipe Note
Mortadella is rich, buttery, and slightly sweet on its own. Smoky Honey Habanero amplifies those qualities while adding gentle heat and a touch of smoke that balances the creamy cheese.
Every bite delivers crispy edges from the mortadella, cool burrata, crunchy pistachios, and sticky spicy honey. It’s the kind of appetizer that disappears before anyone remembers they were supposed to save room for dinner.
Most people think of mortadella as a cold-cut board ingredient. Give it heat and it transforms into something that feels halfway between bacon, prosciutto, and crispy pork belly.
