Never used our Orange Gochugaru Chile blend? Jump on it! It features a vibrant, sweet-heat flavor with a mild, approachable kick. Expect bright, fruit-forward citrus notes grounded by a deep, savory umami undertone.

The OGB: Orange Gochugaru Bourbon

Ingredients

    • 2 Tbsp Spiceology Orange Gochugaru Chile

    • 1 cup water

    • 2 oz 100 Proof Bourbon of your choice (We used Old Grandad)

    • 1 tsp Orange Gochugaru Chile Reduction

    • 2 oz Ginger Beer
    • 1/2 oz Mirin
    • 2 dashes Chocolate Bitters

      1. In a small saucepan, combine Spiceology Orange Gochugaru Chile and water. Bring to a boil and reduce by half. Refrigerate for 5 minutes to chill.

      1. In a cocktail mixing glass, fill half way with ice.
      2. Add bourbon, ginger beer, Orange Gochugaru reduction, and mirin. Stir for 30 seconds to blend and dilute.
      3. In your rocks glass, add one large ice cube.
      4. Strain cocktail over the ice cube.

      5. Add two dashes of chocolate bitters.
      6. Garnish with orange peel and enjoy!
