Think classic potato skins, but herbaceous tomato sauce, umami filled mozzarella cheese, and crispy sausage and pepperoni. Boom. Za Pizza Potato Skins.

Ingredients

4 Large Idaho Potatoes

1/8 cup Spiceology Za Blend

2 tbsp Olive Oil
-
3 cups Whole Milk Mozzarella
-
2 cups Your Favorite Pizza Sauce
-
2 cups Italian Sausage (ground)
-
1 cup Pepperoni (sliced)

Kosher Salt to Taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Rinse dirt off potatoes with a touch of baking soda and water. Coat potatoes in a small amount of olive oil, and sprinkle kosher salt all over them. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place potatoes on the sheet.
Bake on the center rack for approximately 60 minutes or until fork tender. While Potatoes are baking, sauté and drain Italian sausage and set to the side. In a small sauce pot, heat pizza sauce to a simmer and add 1 tbsp of Za blend.
Once potatoes are done, remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice in half long ways and gently scoop out the center of all eight halves of potato. Drizzle olive oil in potato boats, and sprinkle pizza seasoning in the scoop outs.
Add 2 tbsp of pizza sauce to the potato skins, then 1/8th cup of cooked Italian sausage crumbles to each.
Add 2 or 3 pepperoni then a pinch of mozzarella to each. Add a touch more of pizza sauce to each potato skin, the rest of the sausage crumble, then more cheese and top with pepperoni. One final sprinkle of Za seasoning across all the potato skins. Pre-heat the broiler to high. Add skins back in the oven under the broiler and broil until cheese is golden brown and pepperoni edges begin to crisp. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
