Nope, that’s not a typo in the name of this recipe.
These aren’t just chocolate chip cookies, they’re elevated store-bought chocolate chip cookies we dipped in a Raspberry Chipotle chocolate sauce. Why Raspberry Chipotle? The sweet and spicy nature of the blend elevates this classic dessert by adding just a hint of heat.
This recipe pairs well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or another glass of red wine after dinner with friends.
Raspberry Chipotle Chocolate-Dipped Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: 30 minutes
- Total Time: 45 minutes
- Yield: 4–6 servings 1x
Ingredients
- Chocolate chip cookies (you can make these yourself or buy from a bakery or store)
- 1 ¼ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1– 2 tablespoons Spiceology’s Raspberry Chipotle blend
- Sea Salt Flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Melt your chocolate in the microwave or over the stove in a double broiler. Be careful not to burn.
- Once chocolate is melted, add 1 -2 tablespoons Spiceology’s Raspberry Chipotle blend
- Mix well so all the Raspberry Chipotle is incorporated into the chocolate.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool to slightly warmer than room temperature.
- Dip the bottom of the cookies in the chocolate. I used two forks to drop them in and easily remove them. Use a knife or small spatula to smooth out any bubbles then place on a parchment sheet to cool.
- Place in the fridge or freezer for 30 minutes to help chocolate harden.
- Sprinkle cookies with sea salt and enjoy!
