We're busting out three of our most versatile, go-to spice blends to get the job done: Pink Peppercorn Lemon Thyme, Nashville Hot and Turkey Rub. Recipe developer Heather Scholten (and Spiceology Co-Founder AND author of Farmgirl Gourmet) shows us the way with three very delicious takes on turkey legs.

Ingredients

    • Spiceology Nashville Hot Chicken blend
    • Olive oil or melted butter
    • 1/3 cup honey
    • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

    • Spiceology Pink Peppercorn Lemon Thyme
    • Olive oil or melted butter

    • 1/3 cup Spiceology Turkey Rub
    • 2-3 clementines, zested
    • Olive oil or melted butter

    Directions

      1. Coat turkey in olive oil or melted butter, sprinkle generously with Nashville Hot Chicken spice blend. Roast according to directions for the weight of turkey.
      2. In a microwave safe measuring cup add the honey and apple cider vinegar. Heat in 30 second intervals until the honey is melted, stirring well to combine.
      3. Baste the turkey in the last 30 minutes with the honey mixture.
