What Is Tandoori Seasoning?
A blend of paprika, garlic, cane sugar and Tandoori spices is what is offered in this Indian inspired blend. Some other spices used in Tandoori cooking are turmeric, coriander and cumin. This blend can be used to make curries, rubbed onto meats, especially ones cooked over open flame and also added into soups.
How Tandoori Glory Masala Seasoning Is Used
Spiceology created this blend to be used in ways that highlight Tandoori cooking. Tandoori cooking is a way of cooking utilized in India.
Meats and vegetables are cooked over an open, charcoal flame within a cylindrical clay oven. The open flame and clay oven impart an amazing flavor on the items cooked within it, making Tandoor cooking so popular.
To recreate this at home you could make Tandoori chicken. This chicken is made by being marinated in yogurt and spices. With our blend you could simply mix it with plain yogurt and marinate your chicken to achieve the flavor! Then, simply grill over charcoal and serve.
The Flavor Behind Tandoori
The big reason Tandoori items are so popular is because of the blend of spices. As mentioned above, our blend comes from studying great Tandoori spice blends and choosing what we have found to taste best for our customers. When this blend is used in marinades or longer cooking applications the aromatics and flavor really shine.
Spiceology offers the Tandoori Glory Indian Masala Blend because we simply love this way of Indian cooking.
The flavors Tandoori provides are simply unmatched, layered and built in a way to fully capture the senses. We hope you try this blend and discover why Tandoori Cooking is so beloved by our team at Spiceology.
