Once upon a time, we invited three strangers (aka the winners of our Golden Tongs Sweepstakes) to Spokane, WA to be honorary Spiceologists for a weekend.
Each was paired up with a Spiceology Flavor Expert and together three new spice blends were conceptualized, formulated and used to make a communal dinner. (That sh** was delicious, just sayin’.)

Working hand-in-hand with Over the Fire cooking expert, the one and only Derek Wolf, they created a spice blend inspired by the flavors of Brian’s porchetta dish at his restaurant.
And let’s just say, the two of them had a little too much fun together. I guess that’s what happens when you put a beanie-loving, Chef from Santa Barbara and a social media phenomenon who loves everything about flavor together. Who woulda thunk it.
