Alvin Cailan
A classically trained chef who studied at the Oregon Culinary Institute and later worked for Thomas Keller at Bouchon and The French Laundry, Cailan went on to open the legendary Eggslut and Amboy in Los Angeles, is the culinary force at Umami Burger, is the Culinary Consultant for Bob’s Burgers and – on top of all that – is host of The Burger Show.
To top it all off, Cailan is arguably the most high-profile chef in America’s Filipino food movement.
