I didn’t start grilling until I was in my 20s. And, let’s just say, my first attempts weren’t my finest. But, a willingness to learn, perseverance and a kind and loving father-in-law who was willing to take me under his wing and show me the Southern tricks-of-the-trade, helped me become the award-winning griller I am today.
In 2015, I launched Girls Can Grill as a way to motivate other women to pick up the tongs. Through Girls Can Grill I’ve shared techniques, tips and recipes. And, with my collaboration with Spiceology, I can share my award-winning rubs, too.
