Smoked Pork Butt Recipe

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Apply Pork Rub liberally on the pork butt. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 
  2. Heat the smoker to 275F degrees. 
  3. Add the pork butt to the smoker, fat side down. Smoke for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Flip. Smoke for 45 minutes. 
  4. Place the butter and 1/3 cup brown sugar on two sheets of foil. Place the pork butt on top, fat side down. 
  5. Sprinkle 1/3 cup brown sugar on top of pork. Drizzle with syrup. Wrap tightly. 
  6. Cook for 2 hours, or until the center of the butt reaches around 200F. 
  7. Let rest for 30 minutes. Pull and toss with barbecue sauce.
