Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cups water or orange juice optional 
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons maple sugar 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  • sprig of thyme (option)

Instructions

  1. Bring everything to a simmer in a pot.
  2. Cranberries will pop, once they pop they are done, if you desire a thick sauce with broken down crans then cook longer for about ten minutes simmer. 
  3. You may blend as well if a fine sauce is desired.
