- 2 cups cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups water or orange juice optional
- 1 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons maple sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- sprig of thyme (option)
- Bring everything to a simmer in a pot.
- Cranberries will pop, once they pop they are done, if you desire a thick sauce with broken down crans then cook longer for about ten minutes simmer.
- You may blend as well if a fine sauce is desired.
