First things first – yes, this is a mayo-based Caesar dressing – so let’s get that out of the way.
If you’re looking for a traditional EVOO-based dressing, move along. Or maybe don’t – this amped up version using our Alvin Cailan Everything SZN might just make you a believer.
Chef Ryan Wiebe shares his recipe for this umami-packed dressing – use this on salads, as a marinade, on roasted veggies, as a dip, or just slather it on whatever the heck you want.
- 5 bulbs roasted garlic
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire
- 1–2 anchovies fillets
- 1 1/2 cups of mayo
- 1–2 Tbsp lemon juice + more to finish salad
- 1–2 Tbsp Spiceology X Alvin Cailan Everything SZN
- 2 Tbsp Dijon or grainy mustard of your choice
- 3 Tbsp Parmigiana + more for finishing
- Romaine, as needed
- Croutons, as needed
Mix roasted garlic, mustard, Worcestershire, lemon juice, Spiceology X Alvin Cailan Everything SZN and anchovies in a bowl together.
Mix in mayo and parmigiana.
Chop romaine to your liking, mix in your dressing and croutons, squeeze lemon and finish with more parmigiana and enjoy!
