Packed with fermented cayenne pepper, paprika, apple cider vinegar, garlic and real bleu cheese and Cajun seasonings, courtesy ofour OG Black & Bleu blend, this small batch craft sauce is a must for hot sauce lovers everywhere.

Homemade Black & Bleu Hot Sauce Hummus

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium can of chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahini 
  • 1 lemon, juiced 
  • 2 tbsp Spiceology Black & Bleu Hot Sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped 
  • 1/41/3 cup of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • Pita chips for serving
  • Optional, blue cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or a handheld blender add your drained chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, Black & Bleu Hot sauce, garlic and 1/4 cup of olive oil. Blend until you get your preferred consistency. 
  2. Plate your hummus and finish it with more olive oil, paprika or Black & Bleu seasoning and blue cheese. Enjoy with some pita chips! 

Notes

Tip: don’t add all of your olive oil at once – add as needed because you don’t want the hummus to get too loose.
