Ingredients
-
2 Tbsp Spiceology Blackberry Balsamic blend
-
2 Tbsp Spiceology S'mores Blend
-
1 cup Blackberries
-
1 1/4 cups Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
-
2 cups and 1/3 cup All-purpose Flour
-
1 1/2 cup and 1/2 cup Sugar
-
1 cup Butter (room temp)
-
5 Eggs
-
1 Tbsp Vanilla Puree
-
1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a stand mixer, mix together the butter, sugar, Spiceology's S'mores blend, and flour until everything’s well mixed. Press that mixture firmly into the bottom of a parchment-lined 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it's looking golden. Take it out and let it cool while you make the filling.
For the filling, toss the blackberries and 1/4 cup of lemon juice into a heavy-duty blender or food processor and puree until completely smooth. In a medium bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, Spiceology's Blackberry Balsamic, and flour. Then whisk in the eggs, the remaining lemon juice, ¼ cup of your blackberry puree, and vanilla puree until smooth. Pour this mixture over your baked crust.
Pop it back in the oven for about 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool to room temperature, dust with confectioner’s sugar, cut into bars, and serve. They’ll firm up a bit more as they cool, so no need to hover.

Recipe Note
You can run the puree through a sieve if you don't want the blackberry seeds in the filling.
