Ingredients
-
2 tbsp Spiceology's Everything Bagel Blend
-
2 cups Day Old White Rice
-
2 Large Eggs
-
1 small chub/ 2 cups Breakfast Sausage
-
1/2 cup White Onion (small dice)
-
1 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
Directions
In a large sauté pan or wok, brown breakfast sausage and crumble. Set aside in a bowl lined with a paper towel to let drain.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk eggs together until evenly blended for a scramble. In the pan you used to cook the sausage, add 2 tbsp of high smoke point neutral oil and heat to a shimmer.
Add onions and 1 tbsp of Everything bagel blend and sauté for two minutes or until fragrant. Pour eggs on top of sauteed onions and immediately add cold, day old white rice to the pan. Vigorously work the ingredients in the pan with a wood spoon or spatula, breaking up rice and fold into eggs and onions. Add in 1 tbsp of Everything Bagel Seasoning and begin stirring and lightly tossing rice.
Add 1 tbsp of Low Sodium Soy Sauce. Work quickly until eggs are just cooked and evenly distributed amongst onions and rice-approximately 2-3 minutes.
Add cooked sausage back to the pan and work for an additional 2-3 minutes to evenly incorporate sausage. Serve hot.

Recipe Note
This recipe is super simple yet emphatically delicious. I add a tsp of msg to take it to another level for the most flavorful Friday ever. Add chopped bacon, more eggs, ham, whatever you love for breakfast in terms of proteins and wok it out.
