Our Korean BBQ all-purpose umami blend goes right into the batter to impart those amazing flavors of smoked paprika, cayenne, soy, sesame, and orange.

- 1 bunch of green onions, ends trimmed off and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 250 ml water

1 1/2 tbsp Spiceology Korean BBQ blend
- 1 tbsp miso or Korean soybean paste
- 1 tbsp roasted garlic or 1 tsp of fresh garlic

Sesame oil and seeds, as needed
Directions
- Mix together your flour, cornstarch, water, Korean BBQ seasoning, miso and garlic in a bowl.
- In a medium/large nonstick pan, heat some sesame oil on medium heat, then add in your green onions to brown slightly. Shortly before adding in your batter, sprinkle sesame seeds into the bottom of the pan.
- Pour batter into your hot pan.
- Once your pancake begins to set, flip it and cook for another 4-5 minutes to crisp the other side.
- To serve, either serve whole or cut into pieces and have your favorite dipping for your new favorite savory pancake.
