It's the time again.  The weather is changing and it's time to start baking all the things.  It's no exception here at the Spiceologist HQ. With a staff full of chefs and foodies, there's never a lack of something delicious in the break room. 

Our founder makes this recipe for Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies every fall and they are quickly gobbled up!  You need this recipe in your recipe box filed under pumpkin and delicious. 

Makes 2 Dozen


  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 - 15oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c nuts (optional)
