Gravy
Ingredients:
- 2 leftover cooked burger patties, crumbled
- 6 leftover slices of bacon, chopped
- ½ small yellow onion, diced
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup ap flour
- 2 ½ cups whole milk
- 1 tablespoon Spiceology Derek Wolf Maple Bourbon Bbq Rub
- 1 tablespoon Spiceology Turkey Rub
Instructions:
Gravy: in a large frying pan, over medium high heat, add butter, burger meat, bacon and onion. Cook until the onion is translucent. Add flour, ample bourbon seasoning and turkey rub and cook until well combined (appx 3 minutes). Add milk, reduce to medium heat and bring to low boil stirring often. Simmer for two minutes.
Cheddar Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 2 cups ap flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup butter (chilled and diced)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Combine all dry ingredients in a medium/large mixing bowl. Add butter and combine well. From here on out do not over mix, you don’t want the butter to melt. Add cheddar and mix again. Add milk slowly and combine ( I actually use my hands for this part). Once there is no loose flour you are done. Drop biscuits onto baking sheet, you should get 12 biscuits. Bake for 16 minutes on the center rack.
