Ok, this is a super quick Smoked Nashville Hot Chicken Dip that you can either toss on your smoker or in your oven – either way it is addicting and so easy. Here’s the kicker…we used rotisserie chicken, BUT you could get even more NVHC literal with it and use breaded chicken either from the hot case at the grocery store or frozen popcorn chicken. Try this version though, because it was delish! The spicy pickle crema adds that sumpin sumpin that really makes this dip. This will be an easy go to for tailgating season or when you need a quick dip recipe to feed your hungry peeps.
Smoked Nashville Hot Chicken Dip

Ingredients

1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened

2 cups shredded mozzarella, divided

1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons Nashville Hot Chicken blend
- 12 ounces shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1/3 cup plain toasted bread crumbs
- 1 baguette, sliced and toasted, for serving
- Green onion, sliced, for garnish
- Pickle chips, for garnish
Spicy Pickle Crema
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 3–4 tablespoons spicy pickle juice
Instructions
- Preheat pellet smoker or oven to 375º F.
- Spray a cast iron skillet with cooking spray. In a bowl, add the cream cheese, 1 3/4 cups mozzarella, mayonnaise, sour cream, Nashville Hot Chicken blend, and rotisserie chicken. Toss to combine and pour into prepared skillet. Sprinkle the top with the bread crumbs, the remaining cheese and a little more Nashville Hot Chicken blend (if preferred).
- Smoke/Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat and garnish with green onions, pickles and spicy pickle crema (below). Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices.
Spicy Pickle Crema
- Add both ingredients in a small bowl and stir well to combine. Drizzle over the hot dip and serve.
