Smoked Maple Sriracha Biscuits and Gravy Recipe

SMOKED MAPLE SRIRACHA BISCUITS & GRAVY // OFF THE LINE

Ingredients:

Biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Spiceology Smoked Maple Sriracha Blend
  • 10 tablespoons cold butter cubed
  • ¾ cup whole milk

Gravy

  • ½ yellow onion
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon Spiceology Smoked Maple Sriracha Blend
  • 1 tablespoon Spiceology Turkey Rub
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

Biscuits

  1. To make Biscuits, mix all dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, seasoning).
  2. Cube butter into appx 1 cm cubes.
  3. Mix butter into dry ingredients, then using a fork stir in milk. 
  4. Place 8 scoops of dough on a lined baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for appx 20 minutes. While the biscuits are baking, make the gravy.

Gravy

  1. Melt butter and add onion, cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add turkey, maple sriracha seasoning, turkey rub and black pepper and cook until browned.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add milk and bring to simmer, cook for 5 minutes.
